Parkland Based Lacrosse Staff Clinches Third National Concept by Defeating Georgia at IMG School

PARKLAND, Fla., Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Before February, 2018, a lot of people had never heard about Parkland, a charming little town, tucked silently west of Boca Raton. While the entire country was concentrating on the destructive events at the area Parkland high school, a small number of 12 and 13-year-old kids were doing their finest to maneuver forward making use of their plans to surprise the lacrosse world come july 1st – and they delivered. The Leaders compete on the national point only and some participants have been recognized in the country’s many competitive events for their degree of play, including: Alec Gregorek getting First Team All-World at Earth Series Youth Lacrosse, All National at Knight All America Games and First Team All-Tournament at Dick’s Match of Champions, Michael Evans who’s known in the lacrosse world as “Spike” has attained All National at Knight All America Games, First Team All-Tournament at Dick’s Match of Champions, Marcus Acevedo attained Next Team All-World Honors at Earth Series of Youth Lacrosse, Matthew Evans attained MVP at Dick’s Match of Champions after a claw biting aim in overtime in the championship game, Liam Gregorek attained First Team All-Tournament at Dick’s Match of Champions for his 90% Faceoff win Normal over 2 days of intense national competition. Bob Alexis attained First Team All-Tournament for his dominating efficiency at Dicks TOC. The Leaders are getting for their third run at a national championship next month at the IMG School where, once more, they will compete against the most effective U13 teams in the U.S.

This week-end at IMG School, not surprisingly by the presently two-time 2018 national winners, the Leaders put on a clinic against the top qualifying teams from Georgia, Washington and Pennsylvania. The Leaders went undefeated that week-end, wining all five games within the length of two days of competition.

The Leaders are comprised of participants from Parkland, Ponte Vedra, and Bradenton, FL. In three national championship contests, the Leaders have never lost an individual game. The participants teach, frequently five days a week, thirty-six months per year. Coached by Mike and Jamie Evans and Guided by Natalie Gregorek, the Leaders are planned to play and protect their national titles again next summer at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst at the NLF National Championship. Until then, the Leaders can keep instruction and enjoying in the lacrosse hotbeds of New York, Maryland in addition to others locations.
